Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies

    ★★

Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies is an effective documentary series, as long as their goal was to not convince people of anything. I can understand why Casey wasn't found guilty of Caylee's murder, and I can understand why her defense might actually believe that she is innocent. What I cannot understand is why they would show so much evidence of how much of a liar she is, and how much she lies, if they want us to believe her.…

    Mickey 17

    ★★★★

Mickey 17 was a pretty horrible experience. So why did I like it so much? A few reasons. First, Bong Joon Ho is a pro, obviously. Like with Parasite, I spent most of this movie incredibly stressed and wanting to die, but that didn't stop me from continuously wanting to see what was next. They purposely made it kind of choppy, and it was impossible to ignore. The story was very good, though. The Spider-Verse aspect of the movie especially…

    Pulp Fiction

    ★★★★

Pulp Fiction is a favorite from my teen years. I still like pretty much everything about it, too. The story is interesting and trying to put it in order is fun, it looks great, and everyone did a great job. There's a few things keeping me from loving it like I used to, though. There's a lot of the n-word being thrown around for no good reason. Tarantino also just loves having his characters talk for what feels like hours…
