Ok, that was one of the best horrors I’ve ever seen. thought provoking plot. Great jarring music, visuals, references, cutting, ASMR, closeup and just cinematography in general. oh, and the way the architecture/ interior design created a sense of unease

I loved this movie but I could not help but look away for the last 30mins…
I was told this movie, written by her former husband, is deemed to represent how Marylin was depicted.
I thought the use of sound was perfect! The cuts from soundtrack to a subtle focus on individual (Tarkovsky-style) sounds was so well achieved and added so much to support the atmosphere of the scenes.

The cinematography is truly some of the most considerate, subtle (in the sense that, while the techniques are impactful, they merge so romantically with the sentiment of the plot that they do not stick out as unnatural and over dramatic) yet beautiful, impressive and inspiring I’ve ever seen - if not, the most (thus far).
