Watched this movie thrice and I can't stop thinking about it. Kumpleto at buo ang kwento at higit sa lahat, may malaking puso. For me, this, by far, is the best horror of Erik Matti. I love that the movie transcends beyond the terror of having a demon pestering the family. I support the message that the movie strongly says about the Filipino family; how evil can begin inside the family - the microcosm of our society. I join the…
Simple. Funny. Entertaining. Heart-warming.
It reminds you of life's simple truths. Makes you wish na sana life is not as complicated. We need more movies like this - yung simple lang, hindi hypable, hindi pang-awards, hindi intimidatingly intelligent, pero tatak sayo kasi may puso.
1. Perfect cast. Hindi ko magawang magalit kay Iza. Hindi ko magawang mainis kay Nonie. Deeply rooted for both characters and that made the story compelling enough for me.
2. Love is love. What a cliche nowadays. But this movie showed, in various forms, just how beautiful and painful it can be all at once.
3. Ang ganda-ganda nung intercutting ng young love - insecure but hopefull, versus old love - hopeless but certain.
It falls short on the emotional spine. I feel like there should have been more effort to focus on plot and emotional storyline. The first movie is better.
