I was a huge fan of the original movie, so I went in with a mixture of hope and healthy amount of fear.

The sequel does an okay job of picking up with the Deetz family and even does a good job dealing with the Charles problem…

Overall, it is a really fun movie.  But, the magic of the first is missing.  I recommend seeing it, but it won’t be heavy in the rotation.

This is a beautiful tribute to music, musicians, those who support them and - most fervently - love.

    Messy…
    Honest…
    Heart-wrenching…
    Heartwarming love in all things.

The performances are stellar.  The writing is jolting in its realism.  It is enthralling with just those two components, but the music?!  The music isn’t just a character or plot device - it acts the base everything rests on.  I will play it repeatedly in the car, I am certain!

Go watch it and enjoy it!

A fantastic storyline is brought to life with visuals that I wish I had seen in 3D!  The action sequences are completely over the top and don’t fail to entertain!

The actors all are convincing in their roles, with the two leads absolutely…

Coming into this film with unclear expectations of what to expect, I was able to enjoy this film probably more than I should have. It borders on biography, but could have made an even better mockumentary.

Glenn Howerton gets to let loose in rare fashion, given we only ever really see him in "It's Always Sunny..." His over the top Jim Balsillie is brutal and unyielding in ambition. Howerton sets a new standard for farcical malevolence and I, for one,…
