Joker 2019
Visually, I enjoyed the colour and lighting design: it added to the spectacle of the film. Joaquin Pheonix's portrayal of Arthur's descent into madness was also brilliantly acted. However, the film's theme had no subtley; the director was evidently trying to push a message and it had a negative impact on the plot as a result.
The film deserves a decent rating for the memes alone though.
