THE movie i recommend to everyone involved in any art field, even if you’re not a fan of musical theatre. a love letter from one passionate individual to another, a beautiful tribute to jonathan larson which made me want to know more.
understands creative mind with all its ups and downs through and through without romanticizing struggling artists. with every rewatch i am more amazed by people behind and in this project. realistically tragical and unmistakably beautiful with many great performances, especially by andrew garfield and vanessa hudgens (‘therapy’ sequence deserves its own oscar tbh)

a truly challenging thing to not have any dialogue when it comes to full-length movie, but flow did it so well! an engaging and simple, yet beautiful story for both kids and adults, where heartbreak comes in silence. absolutely stunning picture, despite a modest €3.5 million budget (can’t believe it was made in blender). you can really tell it was a project made with love and care, looking forward to more indie animation :)
