A somber and film. The animations were picturesque as ever and the storyline was moving. The film seemed to do a good job of capturing the reality of human nature, but the babyish exaggeration of the younger sibling got on my nerves and lost it half a star in my ratings.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi 2011
MIND BLOWN. I'm pretty sure it wasn't just my frame of mind at the time, but that this was in fact one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. In an hour, Jiro will convince you that spending 700 dollars on sushi is the sensible thing to do, if you value living at all. Jiro's culinary talent is unrivaled and the mere sight of his artwork is enough to transport you to another world. He redefines passion in a way that will make you question every career choice you've ever made.
