Looked awful. Tom Cruise was pretty fantastic in this though and then second half is pretty fun. The characters pontificate too much right away in the first half makes feel super forced.

Honestly pretty great. Wasn’t surprised to learn it was originally a play afterwards. Only an hour but it does drag a bit. Even though it’s all dialog it manages to keep it tense when it matters. I think the subtitles I watched it with were insanely blunt and probably ruined some of that though lmao.
The ending was confusing at first , but I think it’s there to show how the power hierarchy that’s been there the whole time between…

What a vibe. Really beautiful to watch, some mesmerizing shots. The way the world looks is so flat but at the same time it feels really open, like dream. It feels like you never see the edges of a room, the lighting makes the spaces seem huge, and half the movie is close ups. It felt kind of like a stage play.
I think it’s about not accepting yourself even when the world wants you to feel a certain way.…
