  But a great piece of art can make you forget, however briefly, any qualms you may have with the message it is proclaiming so passionately.

  Okay, I like this movie. The first half is BY FAR better than the second, but the adventure is prominent throughout. 

  The second half crosses from fantasy (as the original trilogy handled well) to full on science fiction, and it isn’t good. The giant ants, the alien, the flying saucer, etc. There are also plenty of unforgivable, unsurvivable, and unbelievable moments. But the movie makes up for it, somewhat. 

  The first half is great, full of (solid attempts at) classic…

  A fun hangout movie with some great characters. Probably better suited to watch in August, but a good time nonetheless.
