  Had to duck out for the middle. Will probably watch this one again as I feel i need a second viewing to truly appreciate it.

  Can't believe I couldn't finish a short.

  Save for Modern Times, Chaplin's never grabbed me as much as Keaton. Charming but not much else.

  Wish the characters, story, and premise were explored further, then again maybe it's for the best that this film wasn't dragged out. Thankfully, the trippy visuals and creative violence carry the film.

  Great film even though some of the suspense was lost-thanks to plot points and the alien's appearance being everywhere.

  Love emphasis on mood and atmosphere with the Alien not showing up in full force till almost an hour in.

  For once the characters weren't passing the stupid stick with them all having clear motivations behind their decisions and when they act Ripley is quick to call them out.

  I watched the Director's Cut, as it was the only version streaming…
