When i started my rewatch after years of not having watched the move I didn't quite expect a suprisingly terrifying vision of a totalitarian capitalist state, with a double personality executioner, singular and weirdly omnipotent (albeit gullible as seen in the ending) tyrant, propaganda of conformity life "being awesome" and even more emo girls being hot propaganda (which isn't even a lie that needs to be repeated a 100 times).
