I relate to Dave on all levels with the exception that I don't have a loving partner and a small child 😮💨
The restaurant scene hit home and the rooftop one kind of broke me. It's so hard to be trying your best and be ignored/dismissed and then see someone you know (and love) get all the attention effortlessly. It's really a bittersweet feeling that will probably never leave someone for as long as they live.
