This film took me through some emotionally intense peaks and valleys. Sincerely one of the most beautiful and strangely playful films out there. Larry Gottheim has an immense talent for finding the fun in any task or object in his films, with an immensely unique sense of drama and structure to what are ostensibly long takes of nothing more than a bowl of blueberries, a plate of corn, or in this film’s case: a barn.
Really special kind of art here. The kind that makes me really happy and remember how magical experimental film can be.
