For an adaptation based on a book that is full of so many details and statistics, this movie manages to bring to life the weight of the case with music, a few tweaks in the organization of the story, and amazing performances.
I’ve been watching this movie in pieces with my 8th graders over the last couple weeks as we read the YA version of the book.
I loved seeing them be moved by this adaptation and being sooo engrossed…
