If it weren’t for Mushu, this film would be six stars
Everything that is not Mushu is literally perfect. There is one (1) part where he positively contributes to the plot. Maybe two, but it’s both the same thing.
Anyways, the characters are lovable, the villain is awesome, music is pretty good, and the film is incredibly feminist for its time, analyzing how arbitrary the rules enforced on gender are.
It’s funny how the guy who sticks the most strictly to rules and laws of gender is the least manly man in the show.

Welcome back Atlantis 2: Milo’s Return
It’s just a downgrade from the first in every conceivable way. Writing? Bland. Humor? There was a screaming goat joke. Music? Only one song approached a C+. Visuals? First movie was better. New characters? Assembly line. Plot? More rushed than McDonald’s at lunch.
You can tell this was supposed to be a tv show before it got promoted to the honor of a feature film.
