The Brutalist 2024
Total bait and switch. You go in thinking it's going to be a movie about him building his career and like making a name for himself. Then after intermission it turns into trauma porn. The ending made me very uncomfortable. Which was then followed by a tack on epilogue. They barely touch on the architecture and I argue they don't really understand brutalism. I think they didn't know how to end it and forgot its a movie about an architect.
