Nostalgia 1983
Contains unquestionably some of Tarkovsky's most beautiful imagery. However the film is all over the place in regards to themes, narrative and character. A lot of the scenes feel completely ill-disciplined, incoherent and pointless. There is no overall grand aesthetic to the piece but rather a series of disjointed & confused set-pieces, that are of course very beautifully shot.

Lady Snowblood 2: Love Song of Vengeance 1974
Perfectly fine & interesting political drama (anarchist samurai flick) - but lacks the dynamism, pacing, epicness of original. Dragged even though it was shorter than the first one. Also not nearly as much splatter or limb-chopping as the first part. A weaker film but not an unnotable or terrible one.
