The Whale 2022
at the end you cry for two reasons:

A Woman Under the Influence 1974
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
when she gets back home and takes a moment to embrace her kids again for the first time and the hyperrealism almost breaks down; like, the camera stays so close to her and the children that there are only extreme close-ups of faces and hands, partly blurred; it’s as if the camera is almost getting smooshed between their hugs and kisses, trying desperately to capture the overwhelming closeness and affection; like it knows, it shouldn’t even be there. it's a moment of such unbearable intimacy; almost too much to be captured at all.
