Wonderful, subtle performance from Fernanda Torres. She rarely over-emoted or yelled but performed through being stoic and strong for her family. A true benchmark for internalizing and grounded.

I really liked the scenes early in the movie with the family. It showed how very close they are and how much love they have for each other. That makes it much harder emotionally later on in the movie. The relationship of the family came off very natural and not overly sappy.

It wasn't particularly cinematic, artistic, breaking any innovative ground in filmmaking. It just sought to tell a real life story as best as it could,

I’ve rewatched this about 5 times in my life and I always thought this movie is a little above average. I know I’m in the minority but it’s a little above average too long and jumps around a lot. There are some very good scenes especially the tense scenes with Zodiac killer. Fincher does a good job with the loom and feel of the lat 60s and 70s. Awesome cast.

Good movie that could get better for me over time with repeat viewings. This is a movie that needs time to digest after seeing it for the first time.

Strong performances from Monroe and Cage. Monroe is making her mark in the horror/suspense genre. Cage made me laugh at times he seemed to be channeling Ozzy Osbourne. Kiernan Shipka has the underrated performance of the movie. She nailed it.

Big shoutout to the cinematography and framing where windows, doors or hallways always seemed suspenseful or looming in the background.

Entertaining and fun. Bateman is good and somewhat amusing as the villain. Not much else to it.
    Very Netflix-y
