Great course correction after the last few looney tunes iterations. Being loony was actually a major plot point, and the all visual gags worked great. Beautiful animation, actually shared some sensibilities with Ren and Stimpy. Really loved how off model they went with Daffy Duck. Feel like they really focused on pushing the familiar aspects of these characters instead of challenging them and it really worked. Very few people in the theatre, so not sure we will get more in this vein. Shared some hearty laughs with the parents but not sure how engaged the kids were.

Story was a bit shallow and writing wasn’t great, but it pantomimes so many relatable life moments that you can’t help but have an emotional reaction to it. HERE looks at history through a soft lense that only a boomer could provide, but despite that ends up being a pretty interesting screen saver about life and the inevitable passage of time.
