Postmodern Masterpiece
This film proves that movies don't have to be subtle in order to convey a powerful message. The metaphors are obvious but effective. The ending feels like it goes on for too long, which is purposeful: You've sacrificed every piece of flesh you have to offer by the time you are 50 years old, but you have yet to turn 60, 70 and 80.. in that same body you already discarded for superficial appearances, that were forced on you by a bloodsucking society, obsessed with unattainable beauty. my only gripe are the memory flashbacks which felt a bit forced on me.
