  This documentary does not measure up with the artist. Scott Walker was an avant-garde composer, why make a simple documentary without passion. I even felt attacked on the "graphic design is my passion" parts where the director or editor thought was a great idea to put 2000's windows media player digital animations instead of recording images of the streets, the nature etc. Everyone who wants to make a documentary of an avant-garde musician should watch "Step Across the Border", that's…

  I thought this film would be more impenetrable than Ivan's Childhood, Stalker or Sacrifice, which I recently watched and liked a lot although I had to struggle against my internalized cinema standards. Fortunately the expectations failed. After watching the fourth film by him I come to this conclusion: Tarkovsky is the best filmmaker in the cinema history.
