I don't always love Bong Joon Ho, but this is fun enough.
Suffers from a lot of the same I get it qualities as e.g. Snowpiercer and Okja, but Pattinson does a lot to keep this moving.
Narratively I don't know that Ridley ever really cracked this one, try as he might (and might again, and again, and again).
There is something philosophically interesting at play here, but it's never posed in a way that allows for an actually-particularly-compelling exploration of the ideas. You can play with the ideas the movie presents you, but it's much more interested in the presentation itself than what you might find.
With that said, the cinematography and visual style is unmatched and (along with Alien) all but defined our vision of (a certain) future.
