Watched this movie in Buenos Aires, as I left the theatre and walked to my apartment I took a better look at the marginalised sleeping on the mattresses on the streets that everyone including me ignores.
It seems absurd to compare the holocaust to the homelessness but the movie did made me reflect. It's just taken to the extreme, the family is society and the walls are the modern distractions we build to delude ourselves so we can keep on enjoying our lives.
Essentially it show the mundanity of dehumanisation of people.
I don't know, felt a little flat. There isn't much chemistry between or interesting dialogs between the characters that lets me feel their connection.
The plot is very predictable and slow which would be find if it had good chemistry. You can see it was aiming for it but really misses it.
For instance the movie The Holdovers that I saw this year has a cliche plot put it is really enjoyable because of Payne's and Giamatti's magic touch.

The plot is shit and makes no sense, it's also exactly the the same as the New Hope, can you even believe they made a 3rd Death Star? How did the even do that? Remember in Return of the Jedi at the end where they destroy the Empire and everyone cheers on every planet in the Galaxy because they are free and they brought pice to the Galaxy?
Well, I know the First Order are the remains of what's left…
h3h3 cough* The incest scene just come out of nowhere and that's horrible. If you want a good incest movie, watch Spanking the Monkey - where the incest slowly and awkwardly builds up.
This is just stupid and pointless, why? I guess it would have been ok if they had the ultra awkward morning after where the realize what a horrible mistake they made... Ugh!
