I thought it was funny enough throughout. Subverted a lot of expectations I had. However, I felt like most of the movie was just a lot of nothing. The best character development happened in the final 3 minutes of the movie.
The fact it won movie of the year raised my expectations before going in. Honestly not sure how it won in the first place. It was alright.

Robert Pattinson was in his bag with this one. Really felt like two separate characters.
Felt like there were some pacing issues for me but I think that’s pretty par for the course for Bong Joon Ho. I generally like his stuff despite the occasional strangeness.
I also love Sci-fi that grapples with ethical issues presented by advancing technology
Edge of my seat the whole movie. Also I’m a sucker for uninterrupted long-shots and this movie had an impressive amount.
