dunno how to feel about this. maybe one of those that needs another watch because i was cooking and on my phone while it was playing like a dummy. i do think the topic of african women leaving their children to raise a white family’s child is a very interesting conundrum… it was touched on in something else i watched but i can’t remember… maybe atlanta? i think a lot of the symbolism was missed on me because i wasn’t paying attention but i got the gist of it. also anna diop is a fine, fine babe.
