Shades of Midsommar and the Menu come together with nothing to new to say with uninspired dialogue to boot.
Cast innocent tho~ JMalk acting his ass off as usual & love to see Ms. Amber winning with this film out the same day as Novocaine!
Bonus: I did enjoy the Music Dance Experience scene and the crack about “what do you call a group of people who do nothing”; good times

Too long (the entire chimp pt could’ve been cut), too slow, weird choices (why not just have the neighbor family just be Angelo’s family?), nonsensical?

TRIGGER WARNING: If your favorite anime is also Kill La Kill, you will understand the depths of my disappointment that is this movie, which is pretty much repackaged KLK wrapped with a big bow of your typical Triggerisms. On top of this, the CGI was rough, story as basic as can be, couldn’t tell what I was looking at during action scenes, and couldn’t be made to really care about these characters. The only positive here is the color pallete. Yayyyy~~~
