The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
It’s embarrassing how much I enjoyed this movie. I know the star rating doesn’t really show it, like it’s no midsommar or pulp fiction or something, but it’s just really fun to watch.
Jack Black put his whole bussy into this and perhaps, controversially, I didn’t mind Seth Rogan

Against my better judgement, I really liked this. There’s a man involved in this love story which is usually a dealbreaker when I’m looking for a wlw movie to watch, but it is based on a true story so unfortunately he had to be there. There is bisexual and polyamorous(ish) representation here but because I am neither of those I cannot speak to how good or truthful it is.
Overall I enjoyed watching. The acting is good.
The only thing that took me out of my viewing experience was the horny milfs pop up on letmewatchthis.tv

Forgot to read the synopsis before pressing play on this. Went into it thinking it was just another lesbian period drama. It has elements of that, but it is so so heartwarming. It is really unlike any other wlw or queer-woman-cantered movie I’ve watched before. There’s the clichés like “mean lesbian writer” but as you watch on it makes sense to her character. Towards the end I was watching the time run down on the bottom of the screen wondering…
