  Fuck i felt that, the feeling of being alone in a friendship, the haziness of nonsense partying , the futulity of alcohol. This perfectly captures what it means being a girl at 18, jealous and overcompensating and trying and struggling.

  I think people should forget that this is a movie based on the Jane Austen novel and maybe they might enjoy it more .... BUT it still is pretty mediocre as a period rom-com. It could have taken advantage of the fleabag/breaking the fourth wall aspect of it to a more accurate to the period degree. Why was there a scene where they become friends ?
