The Trial 1962
Imagine my delight when I realized that a novel written by one of my favourite authors , Franz Kafka, had been adapted into a film by the one and only Orson Welles.
And my simultaneous dissapointment that I had not gotten into watching it ,or for a fact known of its existence ,until the beginning of this very year.Certainly faithful to its inspiration, the film is absurd and oppressive , with constant reminders of Kafkas own existensialist and nihilistic beliefs.

Walking into the cinema I did not expect much, as it is a usual occurrence for films to be overated these days.
