The Phantom Carriage 1921
Despite being over 100 years old and having no spoken language at all, this film retains its ability to captivate and bring me to tears, even on repeated viewings. I'm utterly stunned how well this story holds up and the remarkable skill of Victor Sjöström and Hilda Borgström in conveying profound emotions solely through physical acting.
