  A horror comedy with Parker Posey, Edie Falco and Lisa Kudrow had me watching without even needing to watch a trailer. Very campy and mostly funny, the chemistry with the gays was off for me but I was entertained!

  Dang yeah that was pretty bad. I vividly remember watching this movie when I was a teen and it stuck with me but after this rewatch I’m not sure why. The movie felt pointless and put this character through the dumbest of insanely horrible situations. But two stars cause Sandra was acting down per usual

  Even better a second time. You can tell Fede really respects the Alien franchise and beautifully makes it his own. The shots, lighting, sound design, costuming, practical effects, music and sets were all so well thought out that this feels like the perfect addition to the franchise. The acting all around is pretty phenomenal. The fear all of them portrayed on their faces were so realistic, I felt stressed for them. But my faves were def Andy and Rain. Their relationship is one of my favorite parts of this film.

  How did anyone think Kristen Stewart was straight? lol. Also, wanted to revisit this because I remember it being one of my favorites when I was a teen, but couldn’t remember anything about it. I now see why I didn’t remember any of it. Extremely lackluster with nothing really memorable or scary happening. No chemistry with the family, no interesting backstory to keep you invested in anyone and no real scares. But two stars for the insanely good child actors (found out the boy was played by twins).
