Baby Driver 2017
Watched because my fiancé enjoys it, and I can see the appeal. The enjoyment i got was in all the small details; lyricism in paralel to the events, diverse effect shots, thrilling pacing, a unique lead, and a hopeful ending. It was a fun story, just lacking depth to a lot of its charcters. I felt the romantic interest was lacking personality/interest for anything other than the lead, which tends to happen to a lot of female characters. There were some cliché moments, not that they were bad, just predictable. It's a fun movie, just not one to write home about.
