  great movie in all aspects. acting was great, plot was great, and it kept me guessing. some slow moments, but overall i enjoyed it. if you like a dark movie like requiem for a dream, you’ll enjoy this movie too.

  haven’t seen this movie in a long time, and the re-watch was just as good as i remembered. kevin spacey is a great actor and i think he’s highly underrated. if you enjoy movies like oceans 11 or even baby driver, you’ll love this movie. the one thing i didn’t appreciate about 21 was the way it was filmed. i’m not sure if it was the transitions between scenes or just the cinematography itself, but it just felt somewhat incohesive. if you ignore that, the movie is super interesting and keeps you hooked.

  this movie was insane. the acting was great, same with the plot, and character arc. the reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is because the ending was extremely dark and depressing. i thought it would go a different direction after the first half but i was clearly wrong, which actually made it better, not being able to predict how it would end for each character. i wish they made the ending happier, however the darkness is the whole point…

  stephen king classic. while the movie varied quite a bit from elements of the book, it still did a great job creating the looming dread you feel when reading King’s books. don’t expect your normal old classic horror style, as this one relies on cliche cinematography that didn’t do well and that i don’t appreciate as much as others. this is still worth a watch, especially if you’ve read the book which is amazing.
