Hard not to be engrossed at this point in Luca's all-hands-on-deck direction. I'm not a super-huge fan of the universal Amazon stock lighting here but when it all hits in one direction, it fucking hits (pretty literally in this instance), editing is so engrossing. Atticus and Reznor's reverbing score across storms of passion and charisma is a banger and a half, adding an already visceral edge to an energetic performance art caught up in sweaty eroticism and psychological nuance. No notes, you rarely get cinema with so much edging tension in an audience like this.
