  My Fair Lady 1964

  Beautiful costumes and set design that is complimented by being shot in Technicolor. Unfortunately it’s immediately overshadowed by the obnoxious amounts of misogyny and lackluster characters (excluding Eliza of course). Both the runtime and songs far outstay their welcome. The repetition of the same lyrics makes the songs drag out to the point of being grating. If the film had concluded at the intermission it would’ve gained more stars.

  The little songs Gary Cooper makes up by himself are so adorable. Lots of good humour in this and of course slayboss Marlene herself.
