Captain America: Brave New World 2025
This was definitely a pleasant surprise. The action sequences were awesome, and Harrison Ford was great as Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk. I liked that it was basically a direct sequel to The Incredible Hulk, but it did feel slightly lacking as a Captain America entry, despite Anthony Mackie giving a solid performance. All in all, I liked the approach Marvel took here, and I enjoyed this movie quite a bit.

This movie is a lot of fun. The opening sequence was hilarious, the cameos were epic, the easter eggs are very smart, and the overall theme of the movie was well done. My biggest critique is it dragged a bit in the second act, and the ending felt a bit rushed; but overall it’s a very fun and rewarding Marvel movie.

Quite possibly the greatest film ever made. The cinematography and the editing are the best I think I’ve ever seen in a single feature. Powerhouse acting, compelling story, pointed and powerful dialogue, beautifully framed shots combined with a tense and ominous score, overall amazing direction, the overwhelming sensation of existential dread; I honestly can’t find a single fault with this movie. 10/10.
