I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who isn’t familiar with or into Kurosawa’s brand of horror. This seems to exist as a condensed masterclass of building atmosphere and dread rather than constructing a tangible plot (shave an hour’s worth of footage that explains the story off of either Cure or Pulse, and you’ll have Chime).
