  Slow moving character driven film. Touches on the surface of seemingly deeper levels -
  Art school dynamics intertwined with being born into a family of artists. Digs away at unspoken family truths with an undertone of art school anxieties.
  Maybe it helps that I went to art school that makes the characters feel relatable, if not bringing my own art world anxiousness to the surface.

  Brilliant emotive piece dealing with the ‘what if’s’ of a childhood love torn apart by immigration. Touches on the dynamics between husband and wife, as adults, as she navigates these erupted feelings, but dealt with with sensitivity.
  Brilliantly cast - narrative cleverly addressed. Beautiful cinema experience.

  Music was great, thought the acting was good too. Takes a twist I wasn’t expect which was a nice surprise. Didn’t feel like it took up a lot of my time which was also a nice surprise.

  A classic horror of course and still one of the best. Who can walk past a pagan cult film, not me. Britt Ekland will be forever etched in my mind ritualistically banging on walls in a siren attempt. And the final scene harrowing -  as my sister pointed out “if only he partook in the landlords daughters advances”.
