  The hits keep on coming, pretty fun to see this pick up at the end of the train ride from the first. Really fun to see Jimmy Stewart in this. Doesn’t really feel like Sam Francisco though.

  Communication isn't just talking, i-i-it's feeling the other person. It's making contact. Uh, you wouldn't understand.

  TL;DR, what if Marriage Story was made in 1967.

  The tone flaps wildly from scene to scene with transitions with a particular TV sensibility and the end is bolted on with a studio note practically poking out. And yet... as a tone poem about discontentment, in some ways it seems way ahead of its time while being comfortably in the zeitgeist. It's got some scenes.…

  I still can’t get I over that the crazy hair lady started a (non-Trinitarian christian) thinness-cult because of the freshman 15. There’s also a guy who advocates child abused disguised as  “discipline” named Ted Anger, can’t make this stuff up.
