  Would love to see it in 70mm one day, but regardless it’s a very interesting plot that really makes one think. Dated for sure, but somehow the concept of capturing memories and feelings still feels fresh all these years later. Visually it’s a fun film, plenty of SFX directly from the late master himself, Douglas Trumbull. It’s unfortunate how messy the plot is, and how difficult at times it is to tell what just happened.   It’s nice to see an original story these days. It’s a very interesting take on other types of movies such as “Edge of Tomorrow” but somehow very different. Mark Ruffalo stole those show in my opinion, I was laughing my ass off nearly every scene he was in.

  Honestly I enjoyed this movie. Maybe it’s because there has been so little movies out lately, but it was just fun to watch. At times the jokes and movie references are very forced, but overall it has lots of silly action and rom-com elements that just had be laughing and smiling. It’s a great movie to start off the summer as (hopefully) movies start coming out in their cadence again.
