  I was very surprised by the way Marriage Story made me feel. Despite all the crying and shouting and pain, I never really felt sad. I felt completely, hopelessly empty. You are forced to sit and watch two people try their best and constantly fail each other. Henry is split between his two parents, with each side of the family feeling incomplete.
