  Going into this I knew next to nothing about NASCAR, but all the racing sequences in this had me absolutely locked in. I struggled to keep track of the threads in the back half of this - who is on what team? How are they getting financing after the big rock bottom moment in the movie? Doesn’t matter - gotta take the outside line! I admittedly watched this on my phone on a bumpy flight, but I’m looking forward to…

  I can’t believe I haven’t seen this until today! I really loved how it went 11/10 high concept, and it all landed for me! Great kinetic action, was absolutely locked in from the opening. All credit goes to Bigelow for just absolutely going for it. I wish Cameron kept writing stuff like this - just absolutely fantastic. 

  I could nitpick a thing or two here and there but on the whole I’ll throw all my support behind something that goes this high concept and sticks the landing.

  I don’t usually play this card but I will today: Michael Mann’s 1995 classic Heat and I share a release date. No better movie to watch a bit messed up getting over the flu.
