  Fun political thriller that’s a perfect double feature pairing with the last movie I watched (The Pelican Brief). The end drags a little bit, but overall it’s a good time. Costner’s always had a weird sort of charm to him and that’s on full display here. Bonus points for any movie with a Gene Hackman villain role.

  Didn’t really care for this! One of the biggest criticisms I always see of Nolan, one of this generation’s best directors and a personal favorite of mine, is that his work is cold and convoluted.
