  I’m conflicted on this. On a technical level, the movie was made with precision and astounding quality in the visual and acting department. Everyone brought their A-game in the performance and the production. The visuals are quite stunning and definitely carried the movie for me.

  Punisher: War Zone feels like something straight out of the Garth Ennis Punisher: Max run as the movie is filled with the writers staple tropes such as grotesque violence, cannibalism, and over-the-top cartoonish villains, and police officers portrayed as incompetent and lazy mixed together with cheesy B-movie dialogue (also fitting Garths run on the character) and yet the comic writer is no where mentioned in the credits as far as I’m aware.
