The Treasure of the Sierra Madre 1948
This movie is absolutely fascinating, like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Having watched There Will Be Blood especially lent itself to the viewing, being almost able to see the sparks forming in PTA's mind as Bogarts character succumbs to greed whilst showing his great determination.
Everything about this film is tight in its craft and the ending in particular was refreshing and relieved a lot of the heaviness that the film inadvertently causes.

The Killer 2023
After much thought I appreciate the movie more than I like it.
I really didn't feel energy from any aspect of the story or filmmaking which was tough because it occasionally caused boredom.
Perhaps at my age I'm experiencing disillusionment with the filmmaking priorities of our working Auteurs.That all being said this is morbid fascination at its finest and David Fincher bringing his vision to screen exactly as he knows how to do.
