It’s a Wes Anderson film. If you like his work, you will like this. Beautiful color scaling and symmetry work, cinematography beautiful as always. Kind of convoluted story, but did have an impact on me.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
Deserves all of its flowers and more, has been one of my favorites for years and years. Such an emotional, bittersweet story with powerful imagery and a message that really hits home. Right person wrong time, the inability to love when you have things to fix yourself, the struggles of loving someone you can’t help, and all of that. Such a stunning movie with symbolism and connections up the wazoo. My favorite Jim Carrey performance to date.

Great depictions of anxiety and feeling overwhelmed, but not the most engaging movie and some of the storytelling was lost in the stilted dialogue. Loved the part when it felt like everyone was talking over each other and the orange lights intensified. Fantastic performance by Molly Gordon.
