Captain America: Brave New World 2025
“Let’s get this over with, I’ve got shit to do today” — me going into the screening.
That said I did enjoy it more than I thought I would! Somewhere in here there is a lot of really thought provoking questions on the military industrial complex, and the state of race relations and politics in mid-2020’s America. It gets bonus points for being so unsettlingly on the nose. Still, we just don’t dig deep enough. But there were dizzying flying…

I was perfect, before.
I’ll have a week long emotional hangover from this and as soon it passes I’ll watch it again because I can’t wait to go back. It is magic, a masterpiece on what it is to be a woman, and more importantly, to be a human accumulating baggage in this heavy world. I’m so thankful that I will get to share this gorgeous film with my future kiddos—it is a gift!!!
