The story never moved me at the level I’d hope for how excellent the directing, acting and cinematography is. The famous three way scene is incredible but nothing ever comes close to reaching that level of sublime in this slightly long movie.

Why get high when the movie version of Defying Gravity exists? Cause baby you ain’t never gon come down after this movie.

Beautifully shot. Excellent pacing. Unflinchingly honest.

The sex scenes are tasteful and emotionally engaging. The writing and acting allow you to  feel the emotions of the main characters. Surprisingly funny at times in a candid and understated way.

Thirstygirl succeeds at what it sets out to do. Hope it gets turned into a feature.

If you asked me if anything could make me want to get into politics; I would’ve laughed at you and said no.

Then I watched this movie and it made me believe that if we come together, we can do incredible things. 

So many rousing speeches.
