  If "La Chimera" was a box, it would be filled with poetry, melancholy, allegories and strangeness... But Alice Rohrwacher's style is not enough to fully propose and unify all the elements of this story which talks about the emptiness and the void left by those who passed away, of the weight of the past and death. Special mention to Josh O'Connor <3 and also to Carol Duarte and Isabella Rossellini.

  I loved "Anora". A captivating movie, a meeting between a kind of rom-com and drama fueled by humor and sadness. Sean Baker loves his caracteres and signes probably one of the most accessible movies. It is an emotionnal and chaotic journey without any concessions.

  A sumptuous and stylish classical time period drama, with solid performances. A strong and good adaptation of Forster's novel, talking about of class disparities, family, romance with a touch of poetry and tragedy.

  The Fall 2006

  First of all, "The Fall" is a sumptuous and stunning visual experience. The locations, costumes (Eiko Ishioka one of my favorite costume designer once again show her incredible talent) and set design fit perfectly with the idea of using your imagination to tell a story. This is a very inspiring concept, mixing different thematics about the myths, fantasy, friendship. This is also a conversation between the adult world and childhood full of innocence. A master piece!
